As your elected Sheriff, my core mission is to build a proactive law enforcement agency dedicated to reducing crime and creating a safer community. A fundamental aspect of this plan is to significantly reduce the number of active outstanding warrants. Criminal activities don’t stop, and neither will we. My Deputies will be fully committed to executing arrest warrants efficiently and effectively, with the ultimate goal of making this jurisdiction the safest and most secure in the metro area.
My approach is rooted in collaboration. I will establish and strengthen partnerships with all law enforcement entities in the region, forming a powerful Multi-Jurisdictional Taskforce. This team will work together to combat and reduce crime through innovative crime analysis and coordinated efforts. By breaking down jurisdictional barriers and uniting under the banner of one shared goal, we can amplify our collective impact and address crime on a larger scale.
The Sheriff’s Office operates as a constitutional institution, and I am committed to fully staffing every division with competent, dedicated Deputies. This includes ensuring that the Jail, Field Operations, and Court Services are fully staffed with professionals who are trained and equipped to handle their responsibilities with excellence. Our goal is to have an empowered, motivated workforce that is ready to serve the community at the highest level.
Violent crime has no place in our community, and I am committed to reducing it. Citizens will experience a Sheriff who takes a tough but fair stance on crime—holding individuals accountable while ensuring justice is served. We will implement aggressive crime-fighting strategies while maintaining the compassion and care our community deserves. I will not tolerate crime in any form, and I will ensure that law enforcement has the resources and support needed to make a real difference.
One of my top priorities is to keep our youth on the right path. I will implement after-school programs through the Sheriff’s Office to provide mentorship, build positive relationships, and offer alternatives to gangs and violent crime. These programs will engage young people in productive activities, empowering them with skills and guidance to make better choices and avoid the destructive influences that lead to criminal behavior.
As your Sheriff, I also pledge to uphold a fiscally responsible budget. I will ensure that every dollar is spent wisely and in the best interest of public safety. Regular audits will ensure transparency and accountability, and I will always be a diligent steward of the resources entrusted to me.
I maintain an open-door policy to ensure that I am accessible to all citizens and employees. Your concerns are my concerns, and I will be present to listen, address issues, and find solutions.
